Allies seemed to provide the most straightforward method of implementation. The cost seemed very reasonable and the free 1 month trial made it very easy to test the live implementation. The PHP example was very good and we used it as the basis for our own implementation, the code was well structured and informative which made it much easier to debug and modify.

The telephone support provided by Allies was excellent, very helpful and informative. It really saves time taking orders, because you don't have to type in the full address. It reduces the number of incorrect addresses keyed in by customers and therefore saves time despatching products. It also reduces the number of credit card failed authorisations due to incorrect addresses.

Most of the example applications in the API were used to enable us to fast track the development as much of the existing functionality was able to be duplicated in our own applications. The fuzzy address matching seems to work particularly well. This enables us to match a large number of addresses where the Postcode/premise combination is incorrect. We are also able to match an address to an LEA which has also proved useful for our customers.
